Taking inspiration from Hermés and their iconic bags (Birkin, Kelly..) and their scarfs, I created a landscape of women and their prized possessions. Birkins are often seen as a benchmark of success for many women, therefore in this painting I explore the relationship between women and their materialistic needs.
